Micaela Chavez has spent the last decade at the forefront of Democratic campaigning and emerging paid strategies.

Before joining TKO, Micaela designed and ran multi-million-dollar candidate and independent expenditure programs in some of the country’s most competitive battlegrounds.

In 2024, she directed paid buying for Congressman Derek Tran in the cycle’s most expensive House race, defeating incumbent Michelle Steel and flipping a California seat from red to blue. That same cycle, she helped elect 11 additional members to the U.S. Congress.

Across the 2022 and 2024 cycles, Micaela led major digital independent expenditures for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, helping re-elect U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada and elect U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego in Arizona, while also securing statewide ballot initiative victories on renewable energy in Maine (2023) and reproductive rights in Arizona (2024).

In 2020, she worked to secure a Democratic U.S. Senate majority, running the paid digital and streaming program for former astronaut Senator Mark Kelly in Arizona and helping build award-winning Super PAC paid programs instrumental in turning Georgia blue.

Her work on political campaigns has been recognized with 11 Reed Awards and 13 Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).

A Bay Area native, Micaela proudly calls San Francisco home.
